Actually I got no mood to do anything.. blog even. But just to show that I'm still alive and all, I thought I'd crap something up. Hur Hur I finally checked my intro micro results.. wtf they post all the results on the webpage just like that! Fortunately nobody knows my student ID.. or do they?
Yeah I got a 6/10 haha LUCKILY I PASSED WTH I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA FAIL. Then last night when I wanted to print out my PBL lecture overheads. I saw that the results for PBL were out (wtf so semangat). Naturally I clicked on it typed my username and password. Heart beating dengan keng sekali.. scrolled down till my student ID.. oops ter-overscrolled.. looked at people's marks.. 7 7.5.. OMG 12.75!!! I got 12.75/15!!! ARGH MY VERY FIRST H1!!! HOW IRONIC I EXPECTED TO FARE BETTER IN MICRO THAN BUSINESS LAW BUT WTH! Miracle~ yay *jumps off balcony*
I think nobody will believe me anymore when I say I'm gonna fail because donno why things somehow turn out differently. But I'm not lying!! Before and after every exam I really feel like I'm gonna fail because I didn't know what I was doing in the exam. Seriously, I'm not the kind of lame ass who goes around telling everyone I don't study and pretending to be lazy but secretly study like hell at home. That's just dumb and there isn't really any point in doing that. The only study I do is:
1) the night before. cramming the shit out of my brain.
2) uhh.. made "attempts" to my tute work when it isn't due but tutors are gonna check it; and
3) do my tute work IF it is due.
I think that is nothing compared to what the woman at the Transition to Commerce lecture said. What she recommended was a minimum of 24 hours per week. Lol like yeah I could do that.. So this comes back to my life-long belief that Lady Luck really exists and we should start worshipping her. Thx. Then there's also the question "What if one day my luck ran out?" which goes along with the question "What if one day I lose my good eyesight?" which goes along with the question "Why the fuck you have so many 'what ifs'?"
Although I didn't fail.. my marks weren't that great. Okay for PBL it is.. but not Micro.. I'm doing a Comm degree so law can eat shit and die. It's a sign that I will not survive in Micro if I don't buck up now. So today, Su Fern and I made the effort to revise Intro Micro which was really good. We actually went through the CALM assignment (which I didn't know was due next wednesday. lol a number of people clobbered me today for my 1) blurness 2) results 3) lame jokes)
I knew that the assignment existed of course.. I knew it was due on April 9th.. the only thing I didn't know was that April 9th is next Wednesday.. I thought I still had 3 weeks =D Productive day.. I don't get many productive days. Last Sunday I finally unzipped the emulator and roms I downloaded last year. Now I'm addicted to Breath of Fire.. so if I don't blog or go online.. you know why.
Another thing that made me proud of myself is I spent the weekend doing my Accounting Project (actually coz it was due today). I could've spent only 2 hours doing it.. others would spend maybe 4-5 hours.. but I ended up completing my project in 7-8 hours. As you grow older, your procrastinating skill levels up. I was gonna delay the completion of my project until:

That motivated me to speed up and I completed the whole shit in the next half an hour. Oh and I couldn't balance coz I wrote my Capital as 107.50 instead of 105.70. Good thing I spotted it before I tore all my hair out =)
Speaking of hair.. I bought this hair straightening formula coz I thought it would be cool to feel like I've got straight hair for a day. Haha wtf it's just like gel and made my hair look so oily and clumpy (i.e: sucky). AND IT SMELT LIKE COCONUT!! YUCKS! I wanted to wash my hair again but my bro was like 'don't care la. let's go' So I had to spend one day at uni with coconut smelling hair sniff.
Tonight I'm gonna try a banana cream mask HAHA at least I don't have to go to school with banana smelling skin.. I hope. Back to my Accounting Project story.. I handed it in today. Before class I saw Su Ee (wahahaha I finally found out how to spell her name by peeking at the attendance roll). She was with Jason and both of them said it was necessary to do the Closing Off process (where you post revenue and expenses to the Profit and Loss Summary). Obviously I did not do it. So I panicked (as I always do for no reason) and kinda went hysterical. But in the end I handed it in without doing closing them off. Because why? Coz I spent so much time making my project neat and cool with no trace of my kid-like handwriting and you expect me to ruin it all?! No way! I rather lose one mark for that.
Luckily, I didn't have to lose one mark after all. Coz it wasn't in the instructions that we had to close them off.. so I guess it was optional and I chose not to do it ;) Today I learnt a lesson.. or something. I came to realise that what my seniors said were true. It's important to work with others in order to get things done. Discussion and networking is vital. Now I just have to achieve our early resolutions (the one Serena and I made at the earlier posts) to gather 1000 ppl and study together every night in the state library. Haha just to update you guys.. our resolutions were:
1) Learn italian
2) Do things without computers - don't go online
3) Meet great people - gather 1000 ppl and study
4) Top students of our course
Sadly, none of them has been achived to date and I have this stinking feeling it will stay that way. While I'm typing this I received a SMS from my mom asking me what's H1 *sou heng* I bet she knew what H1 is.. she just didn't think I got it so she's reconfirming bleh.
Okay I think I crapped enough for a person who doesn't have the mood to crap. Off to put banana cream on my face now. Cya.
Moral of the story/Thought of the day: A productive day is a good day.
